Hello, my name is Amber; I am thoroughly addicted to all things trashy and cheesy. When I’m not on the Internet doing god-knows-what, I’m found helping to develop the employment brand for a major automobile insurance company. In between social media campaigns and an hour-long commute on the DC metro, I have plenty of time to read everything I can get my hands on. Mostly Harry Potter.

In the meantime, I love snarking on deserving books and swooning madly over others. Call it being a fangirl, call it being passionate — I call it fun. I love talking about what I’m reading, which led to the eventual creation of this blog. Here, you’ll find reviews of the tomes that have graced my paper cut-ravaged hands and maybe even snippets of my writing as I eventually kick myself into getting back into that particular saddle.

Apart from the literary arts, I like: pugs, crafty hobbies (knitting, embroidery, cross stitch), my partner Samuel, bringing the #emorevival, being an outspoken feminist activist, brunching all over DC, and getting lost at the bottom of a pack of Double Stuf Oreos.
