3 Days, 3 Quotes – Day 3

A warm shout-out to Paige over at Page by Paige for tagging me in this challenge! Paige is a wonderful young blogger — at the ripe age of 12! — who definitely deserves some love. We’ve reached the end of this tag, so I hope the quotes I’ve brought you over the past few days have touched your soul in some way — or some sappy thing like that.

The Rules:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you.
  2. Post a quote for 3 consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
  3. Nominate three new bloggers each day.

Today’s Quote:

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling

Here we are, at my most beloved book quote of all time. As mentioned time and time again on this blog, Harry Potter is a significant portion of my life, due mostly in part to quotes like the above that stand to the test of time. I, personally, have had a very long, uphill battle with major depression and post traumatic stress disorder, but this is one of the mantras I tend to repeat to myself when I’m in the middle of an episode, especially when my PTSD has been triggered. I also keep a framed version of this quote at my desk for when people tend to send me into high anxiety mode. Have I stressed enough how much this quote means to me?

Consider yourself tagged:

As always, if you’ve already participated or are currently participating in this challenge, feel free to ignore this tag. However, if you want to participate, please tag me so I can see what you chose each day!

  1. Oh, and, as somebody who struggles with severe anxiety, this quote has been a lifeline for me too! I have a friend who’s actually cross-stitching it on a pillow for me 🙂
